Another excellent weekend of EARC racing:

* Navy LWs, in a late change, add Delaware to their schedule. The Mids will get some competition in for the entire Varsity and Plebe squads on the Severn River, Saturday morning. Last week Delaware fell to Dartmouth, but was competitive in racing on Lake Quinsigamond.

* Yale LWs will double up at home on the Housatonic on Saturday. Morning racing will be for the Marcellus Hartley Dodge Cup against Columbia and Penn. Yale defends and leads the series with 31 wins since 1955 {Penn (15), Columbia (4), Detroit (2) and Princeton (1) — who knows how the last two got in this series?}. In afternoon competition, the Eli LWs will face #1 ranked Cornell.
* Yale HWs will also face Columbia and Penn at Derby in Blackwell Cup competition.
* Navy HWs travel to Lake Cayuga and Ithaca, NY to face Cornell and Syracuse. 1V racing will contest the Goes Trophy and the squads will compete overall for the Stag Trophy. In the 1V, if you believe rankings, the Goes Trophy, should show close competition. Cornell is ranked #10. Navy and Syracuse are tied at #12. Navy 1V will race on Sunday on neutral waters in West Windsor, NJ versus Columbia in hopes of retaining the Maxwell Stevenson Trophy. Columbia is ranked #11.
* Undefeated and #2 ranked Yale W will face Princeton and Tennessee on Lake Carnegie in Princeton, NJ. Also undefeated and #4 ranked Princeton and Yale will race for the Eisenberg Cup. The Bulldogs won the Cup last year for the first time in 19 years.
* Navy W following a 3-1 record last week on the Potomac will face Georgetown on the Severn on Saturday.

Please see two articles from Navy and Yale sports below. US Rowing’s collegiate rankings are also included below for men’s and women’s varsity 8+. The next ranking for LWs will be next week.
